After being considered a renowned Mexican soap opera actress, Maite Perroni recalls that at the beginning of her career, people did not have faith in her.
The singer also opened up about what it has been like to venture into and stay current in the artistic world, now that she is enjoying her role as a mother .
Maite Perroni is currently experiencing one of the best moments in her personal life.
Well, it was in May 2023 when, alongside her husband Andrés Tovar , they announced the birth of Lía.

Maite Perroni , who is temporarily away from television and film to focus on her family, spoke about the discrimination she suffered at the beginning of her career.
The actress, who participated in soap operas such as “La Gata” or “Cuidado con el Ángel”, explained how she had a hard time finding a place in the entertainment industry.
The RBD member met with some reporters and was questioned about these situations that a woman dedicated to the artistic medium faces.
Maite Perroni recalls that there was criticism when she began her career as an actress, as she explained that because she was a woman, she was judged and accused.
“I remember when I was starting my career, many years ago, when I was in negotiations or on projects trying to achieve, I don't know, a better situation, they would tell me: 'No, but, well, it's grey, and on top of everything, he's going to get married, have children and that's it, he's not going to do anything'”

However, today he enjoys a solid career in the world of acting, highlighting his great talent in melodramas.
“And 20 years later, here we are with a career, but of course, just like that little anecdote, there are many other situations,” commented Maite Perroni.
Regarding how her work and her role as a mother have mediated, the soap opera star commented:
“In my case, I have made the decision not to take on projects that involve being away from her. I think these are important moments to be able to be there and build that relationship, that bond, to be close, to fill her with love, and these are moments that will never come back. So for me, there is nothing more important right now than being able to be with my little girl. Other opportunities will come later, but I am in no hurry. The most important thing is her.”

Maite Perroni enjoys her days focused on her family, proud to write the pages of her love story with her husband Andrés Tovar and her daughter.
Happy for the stability on a personal level, the actress has revealed how she is committed to living this stage of her motherhood , which has filled her with hope.
So much so, that she would like to have a new member in the family in 2025 with her husband.
“I hope so, I would love it, boy or girl, it doesn’t matter, it’s a blessing, so whatever God wants, if He wants, with open arms,” she said.
Maite Perroni, on the other hand, did not rule out returning to the small screen, although she made clear her conditions for doing so again.
“Well, I don’t really know. I haven’t done soap operas for many years, but I would like to do one, some cool project with a good script and so on, that would be cool, but no, I don’t know, right now I can’t even visualize it.”
